Kevin Scully creates a live art mural at Poole Lighthouse as part of their Young Progammers Level Up Micro festival.

The Lighthouse Young Programmers took over the building on 1 April to deliver their very own microfestival, Level Up, in which gaming through the ages and live music sets the stage for imaginations to run wild.
Created around the theme of ‘What did you want to be when you grew up’, visitors to the event were able to play through the generations with Cyber Jam’s collection of games, ranging from retro consoles to VR, while the Sherling Studio will host exciting new live music showcases.

As part of the day SWA artist Kevin Scully created a live mural in the foyer. The design theme had a retro technology and gaming approach, tying in with the themes of the blockbuster film BIG, which was being screened in the Poole Lighthouse cinema during the day.

The mural was kept on display in the foyer for visitors to enjoy for a number of weeks after the festival.
